Skinny Molly was founded in 2004 by Mike Estes (formerly of Lynyrd Skynyrd) and drummer Kurt Pietro. What was meant to be a one off tour of Europe has turned into one of the hardest working and popular rock bands out of the southern United States. Skinny Molly now includes guitarist Jay Johnson, and bassist Luke Bradshaw. This line up has toured relentlessly, crossing the States and three continents on the strength of their "No Good Deed" debut CD, which has established the band as popular touring outfit across the USA and Europe.

Piling on gig after gig since releasing  "No Good Deed", In 2012  They caught the attention of Thomas Ruf. The band signed a deal with world renowned Ruf Records, hit the studio, and recorded their new and widely acclaimed CD "Haywire Riot." Skinny Molly is currently gearing up for Spring dates in the States, and a Summer Tour of the UK, France and Finland. This August through early October there will more dates Stateside, followed by a six weeks of touring Europe starting in the Czech Republic, October 24, 2013
